Whats the cheapest I can find a RELIABLE used 99' prelude engine for?

Its the h22a, 200 hp, 99 prelude sh engine. Mine has got to go and I need some second, third, fourth, etc etc opinions on what sort of pricing I can expect. I've found them remanufactured and going for as much as 5500 and being sold used for as little as 2200. Is there really that much of a range? Also, i'm thinking I might just switch to the type s engine (223 hp) to soften the blow of being ripped off. What do you think?
