Should I choose to go and live with him?

I'd say get your own place, and have him come and live\w you so if things don't work out he can get out & not you. You seem to be an excellent person from what I've read, but money isn't always what count in a relationship. What matters the most is "is this the one person you'd want to spend the right of your entire life with for better, or for worse?" That's a BIG commitment and most of "us" don't want it. When I married at the age of just 16yrs old I was READY for that big commitment! I'd had it living at home being told what to do, when I could go out, and come in, I wanted total freedom & that's why I choose to leave home at an early age & I'm glad that I did! No Regret after being married over 50 something yrs.
