How will a young beautiful Black-Caribbean American girl be treated in Bangkok, Thailand?

Im visiting Thailand to see my best friend from high school, she was recently married to a Thai guy (she's Italian and Russian) and she invited to stay over their new beautiful house in Bangkok. I heard only a COUPLE of stories about how Thai people are not comfortable with people of dark skin and this scarred me a bit. I am really into Thai food, know only a couple of words in Thai, and respect the beautiful and peaceful traditions the country offers. Ho will a Black girl be treated in Bangkok, Thailand?
