I've bought a laptop but cant seem to connect to wireless router but connection is fine using Ethernet cable

I had the same prob so I phoned Belkin and they told me to press the Fn key (lower left on my laptop) and the f10 key together to turn the wirless capabilities on the laptop on. It works perfectly now.
